What Is Featured.com? A Founder's Guide (2026)

If you checked out Featured.com a while back, when it was more of a classic source platform, forget what you saw. It has completely transformed. Featured relaunched on June 2, 2026 as an AI co-pilot for PR, and honestly? It's really cool.

Here's what it is now, how it works and whether it's worth your time.

What is Featured.com?

Featured.com is now an AI-guided PR platform. Instead of scrolling a directory of journalist requests, you tell it what you're looking for in plain language. It finds matching opportunities and even helps you draft the pitch.

Think of it like a PR assistant that never sleeps and is always scanning for opportunities that fit your brand, you tell it what you want it to find and it looks for you.

Pssst. Quick backstory: Featured bought HARO from Cision in 2025. [Here's the full story on what happened to HARO and Connectively]

The chat feature

This is what makes Featured feel totally different from anything else out there. There are no filters to dig through and no complicated dashboard. You just type.

For example, a product brand might type: "I'm a women's wellness supplement brand looking for journalist requests related to hormonal health and nutrition."

Featured pulls matching opportunities into one place.

Then it helps you write the response, but definitely take some time on this part as sometimes AI templates can be super generic!

Every kind of opportunity, in one place

Featured now pulls in way more than journalist requests:

  • Journalist requests from HARO, Qwoted, X and more, so you're not checking a bunch of platforms separately.

  • Podcasts. A database of 814,000 active shows you can search and pitch yourself to as a guest.

  • Bylined articles. Write an expert article published under your name. Great for authority and backlinks.

  • Speaking engagements and awards. Visibility opportunities most brands totally overlook.

  • GEO (generative engine optimization). Getting your brand cited in AI answers like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

Workflows: PR on autopilot

This one launched July 14, and it's a game changer for consistency.

Workflows run in the background and send matched opportunities straight to your inbox or Slack. You set it up once by making three choices:

  1. When to look: hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.

  2. What to match: your niche, keywords and brand type.

  3. Where to send it: email or Slack.

We currently have workflows running on things like Media Mentions and Finding Opportunities for a client. I like the media mentions, but I will say the finding opportunities only gives about 2-3 a day and some are a bit irrelevant, but hey it's a work in progress!

There are nine ready-made workflows to start from. The journalist requests workflow is the big one for product brands, since it catches matching requests before your competitors even see them. There's also a dedicated HARO workflow that covers every edition (morning, afternoon and evening), plus workflows for podcasts, awards, speaking, bylines and GEO.

Why does this matter so much? The number one reason brands don't get press isn't that they can't pitch. It's that they don't pitch consistently.

Heads up: Workflows is on paid plans. Check Featured.com for current pricing. You can use our VOP20 discount code to save!

Featured.com vs. Qwoted

We get this question a lot, and the answer is: use both.

  • Featured is your PR command center. It gathers everything in one place and uses AI to help you move faster and more consistently.

  • Qwoted is your precision tool. It's still our number one pick for high-quality journalist relationships and the best conversion rate for premium publications. (Use code VOP at checkout for $50 off!) [Our full Qwoted guide is here]

Our honest take

This isn't the same platform it was even six months ago. If you're a product brand doing your own PR, it's absolutely worth exploring. The chat feature alone will save you a ton of time, and Workflows makes staying consistent actually doable.
